SelectCare Access Corporation (“SelectCare”), MCA’s non-risk assuming Preferred Provider Organization (“PPO”), is a comprehensive preferred provider network that can be accessed by self-funded employers, third party administrators, and insurance carriers and their respective members. Extending throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, the SelectCare network provides affordable, and quality services to its clients and their members. SelectCare operates on the premise self-funded benefit plans have unique demands and features. SelectCare encourages plans to access different levels of care. SelectCare is also able to access other PPO networks through reciprocity agreements to increase the scope of its geographic coverage. All SelectCare clients are provided with detailed reports that demonstrate PPO savings to their benefit plans.
SelectCare also has experience, through its MCA corporate relationships, in working with hospitals and physician groups to develop programs that allow hospitals and provider groups to become accountable health plans deliver risk-based products to their respective communities.
