The Administrator™ – A Windows™-based system sold to Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), Physician Hospital Organizations (PHOs), Employee Assistance Providers (EAPs), Utilization Management companies, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), and other managed care companies. The system has three primary modules.
  1. The Network Manager module is for those who have the need to manage a network of providers, produce fee schedules, do credentialling, and print directories.
  2. The Utilization Management module is for those who manage utilization such as pre-certification of procedures, concurrent review and retrospective review of procedures, case management and point-of-service programs. A variation of the Utilization Module for Workers’ Compensation and EAP applications is also available.
  3. The Claims Management module allows for the repricing of claims, maintenance of claims history, and integration with the Utilization and Network modules.
The marketplace for this product is rapidly expanding. As managed care continues to move into the non-urban market, the local physician community needs the ability to gather data about their performance so that they can negotiate with managed care companies. This has led to an increase in the creation of PHOs, PPOs, and IPAs. In more urban communities, EAP programs are emerging. Because The Administrator™ is modular and scalable, it is able to grow with the organization that licenses the software. We currently have a stable clientele, which includes HMOs, PPOs, IPAs, PHOs, EAPs, and MCOs. MCS's clientele ranges from the very small to larger institutions, most with single-site locations and some with multiple-site and remote locations.
